Winter light in E 5th St, New York, 4 years ago. Darkroom lith print on 20x24 inch Agfa Record Rapid RRH111 4.
It was a tough one and although I really like the picture, the print isn’t optimal - the paper needed a very long exposure and a very long dev time (about the longest I’ve ever had - dev soup wasn’t warm enough, hence it took more than an hour), as a result the borders are fogged. I’ll try again with Brovira and a really warm and active dev soup - but it’s a nice first result. Those superwide pics really call for large prints to suck the viewer in.
Taken with a Cambo Wide and the Schneider-Kreuznach 58XL lens handheld on 4x5 inch Ilford HP5+.
