What I really like is when a picture makes you freeze and feel the silence. When I’m looking at such a picture I tend to freeze myself, silently gazing at the picture, being sucked in by its atmosphere. The picture above is one of that kind, one that let me freeze when I took it and one that lets me gaze silently at this silent scene.
Since I took the picture I’ve been going to that place quite often because I so much liked that setting. Last week I discovered that it had been removed, gone forever. So nice that I still have my print of this which makes me feel as if I were there. I love it when art, when especially photography and even better my own photography strikes a chord in me, makes me hear some faint music - or just total silence.
